About

Hi there!

I am a ’40 something’ stay-at-home mom to 4 incredible children (2 boys and 2 girls). We live in the gorgeous countryside of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa, where we unschool, deschool and endeavour to passionately live a natural, simple, peaceful, creatively fun and adventurous life.

I have a critical, perfectionist eagle-eye for quality, errors and safety in products, services and places that we visit. I also like to promote those people and companies that are honestly out to improve others’ lives. I hope that my articles on this website will help you to make decisions, be informed, and avoid bad experiences in your own life. I am not paid to write any of these reviews; I do them entirely out of an inspiration and a ‘want’ to see the world a changed place for the better and for the good of everyone.

I am not a doctor or qualified professional of any sort, except that I have lots of experience in certain aspects of life. I believe that everybody deserves way more than second best in their life, right from babies to the aged.  I also passionately believe that more people need to be made aware that they can insist on the most outstanding and superlative quality in products, services, surroundings and experiences that they come across every minute of their lives. Why let mediocrity,  frustration, mistrust and confusion rule our days?

Thank you for taking the time to read my reviews and tips. Any comments will be welcomed and answered as soon as is possible.

Here’s to seizing our days,

Jolene
